The Planned Full Size
Sunset Hill's I. T. S.
Branch Line Passenger & Freight Station
Current plans for the Sunset Hill's Illiana Train Society "Bull Moose Line" include the construction of a full size Branch Line Passenger & Freight Station as an engine house/shed on the north side of the outdoor garden railway layout.
The building, will be the hub of activity.
I.T.S. member Phil Bachman presented proposal drawings of a new train shed.
He has prepared a Floor Plan and an Elevation drawing.
Equipped for engine storage it will also be a staging facility, and contain the power unit controls for the five operating G-scale railway lines of the model layout

Unlike typical railroad G-scale modelers who construct their layout from the ground up the Society's Building Committee: Lance Molenda, Owen Todd, George Sarver, Dave Ransom, Dave Casey and Gary Barneko
are asking for $52,000.00 in donations to have an outside contractor build the Passenger/ Freight station and the G-scale train garden.
